Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all surveillance equipment and access control as assigned by the surveillance department, and/or property manager. Responsible for all surveillance technicians and monitoring of the entire surveillance system. This role involves participating in additions and deletions to the surveillance system and security surveillance system, as well as additions, deletions, and maintenance to access control systems. The technician will assist in the preventative maintenance on all casino surveillance and security surveillance CCTV equipment, and the maintenance of security panic systems. A key responsibility is ensuring the documentation and control of all evidence in the direct control and custody of the surveillance department, and protecting the casino’s assets through the maintenance of Surveillance Systems. The role requires working with the surveillance management team to implement surveillance equipment repairs and upgrades, maintaining a high quality of guest service, and compiling/presenting investigation results. Collaboration with law enforcement and gaming entities, and ensuring compliance with Nevada Gaming Regulations and company policies are also crucial. The technician will communicate and enforce new policies and procedures pertaining to gaming systems and ensure "Surveillance Confidentiality Rules" are followed. Participation in special projects and investigations, adherence to safety/health standards, and ensuring safe work practices in compliance with OSHA standards are expected. The role includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of all surveillance and electronic security equipment, and assisting in the maintenance of the surveillance equipment repair room, monitors room, and security surveillance monitor room. A good understanding of large IT datacenter infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, and all CCTV/Access Control IP systems is necessary. The technician will install security and low voltage systems and their supporting cable, and must obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use of personal devices for job-related tasks is also required. Other duties as assigned.
