About The Position

Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all surveillance equipment and access control as assigned by the surveillance department, and/or property manager. Responsible for all surveillance technicians and monitoring of the entire surveillance system.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of large IT datacenter infrastructure including networking, virtualization, and all CCTV/Access Control IP systems.
  • At least two years of previous casino experience in technical video surveillance or similar or related field.
  • Ability to actively learn and develop skills to acquire certifications for newest edge technologies.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and camera/access control layouts.
  • Ability to create and configure schematics (AutoCAD/Bluebeam) for camera and access control layouts.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • At least three years previous experience in a surveillance department with knowledge of multiple CCTV systems, network switches, and multiple IP systems is preferred.
  • Associates degree (AS) and or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Gaming Minimum Internal Casino Standards, local jurisdictional gaming laws, and Nevada Revised Statutes.
  • Should be highly proficient in time management.
  • Strong understanding and experience with IP Cameras.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Cisco Switches.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Access Control.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Fiber and Copper Connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Corporate Management Training by attending management training classes as applicable.
  • Participate in additions and deletions to the surveillance system and security surveillance system.
  • Participate in additions, deletions and maintenance to the access control system(s).
  • Assist in the preventative maintenance on all casino surveillance and security surveillance CCTV equipment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of security panic systems throughout the properties.
  • Ensure documentation and control of all evidence in the direct control and custody of the surveillance department.
  • Assist in protecting the casino’s assets through the maintenance of Surveillance Systems.
  • Work with surveillance management team to implement surveillance equipment repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain a high quality of guest service.
  • Compile and presents results of investigations, personnel and tracking information.
  • Work with and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement and gaming entities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Nevada Gaming Regulations and company policy and procedures.
  • Communicate and enforce new policies and procedures pertaining to gaming systems.
  • Always ensure that the “Surveillance Confidentiality Rules” are followed and enforced.
  • Participate in special projects and investigations as assigned.
  • Adhere to supports all company property and governmental safety/ health standards.
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with OSHA standards and preventive measures.
  • Participate in the installation, maintenance and repair of all surveillance and electronic security equipment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the surveillance equipment repair room, the surveillance monitors room and security surveillance monitor room.
  • Install security and low voltage systems and the cable that supports these systems.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
