About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and managing CCTV and digital recording system. Keeps equipment operating with routine cleaning, repair and installation of new or replacement digital equipment. Conducts business with minimal supervision while keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager advised of all technical needs. As knowledge increases, work schedule will include on call 24/7 status for equipment and service related issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 2 years experience preferred in gaming environment or related field.
  • Working knowledge of the current ACGC Surveillance Equipment at properties regulated by ACGC, and associated computer databases.
  • Knowledge of pulling cable.
  • Knowledge of installing cameras and surveillance related equipment.
  • Ability to read blue prints, maps and electronic diagrams.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, hazard free work environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, toning, switches, punch downs, relays, disc arrays and installing of fix and PTZ cameras.
  • Knowledge of computer skills, Digital systems, IP systems and the ability to keep learning as technology progresses.
  • Must be able to maintain and keep any CCTV equipment certifications (Digital, IP or Analog).

Responsibilities

  • Keeping an accurate record of equipment malfunctions.
  • Fixing any malfunctions in a timely manner, and reporting such to the appropriate authorities and keeping the Surveillance Technician Manager informed of all such incidents.
  • Maintaining equipment related to CCTV, digital system, camera placement and installs, digital recorders, cable pulls, wiring plus various other duties that occur.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance to equipment.
  • Assisting various departments that have CCTV and or digital related equipment at the Surveillance Technician Managers approval.
  • Keeping up to date with new equipment technology (Digital, IP or Analog).
  • Providing positive attitude and communication when working with casino employees, co-workers, and Surveillance management.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Technician Manager or Surveillance Director outside the assigned job duties of that of Surveillance Technician.
  • Assuring policies and procedures are followed when conducting maintenance or installs of equipment.
  • Ensuring that the Surveillance Department is taking the necessary steps to safeguard Tribal Gaming Assets and keep in compliance with Federal, State laws, rules, regulations and the MICS.
  • Performing other job related duties as assigned.
