The Technician - Quality Control is responsible for inspecting, testing, preparing, and staging rental equipment to ensure inventory accuracy, equipment reliability, and event readiness. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and supporting flawless event execution. This position will support our Alford Media team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office/warehouse based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in event production, audiovisual technology, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
Basic technical repair and troubleshooting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inbound inspections and quality control checks on rental equipment.
Prioritize workloads based on event schedules and outbound equipment requirements.
Stage, prepare, and verify outbound equipment to ensure readiness and accuracy.
Conduct basic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs to return equipment to rentable condition.
Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements.
Maintain inventory levels of parts, accessories, and supporting equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality control processes and warehouse efficiency.
Promote and follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partner with Operations, Warehouse, and Event teams to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Assist with training and development of team members as needed.
