About The Position

Cannabis Production Technicians are directly involved in manufacturing DreamFields products, from initial production stages through final sale-ready units distributed to dispensaries throughout the state. This is a full-time, onsite position in Peekskill, New York, scheduled for the first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role is non-exempt and pays $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay. The work takes place on a high-volume manual production assembly line. Technicians handle cannabis flower and oil, prepare and package products, meet cycle-time requirements, and work toward individual and team performance goals while maintaining product quality. Production facility roles may involve regular exposure to cannabis plant material, dust, noise, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions. Personal protective equipment is provided and required. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of production or manufacturing experience, working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the ability to meet the physical demands of production work. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and willing to submit to a background check.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing position.
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods, and to sit or stand for long periods or entire shifts.
Ability to perform repetitive motion using hands and arms, with full use of arms, hands, and fingers for fine manipulation, making boxes, and applying compliance stickers.
Willingness to submit to a background check.
