About The Position

The Process Technician will be responsible for Integrated Detector Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDDCA) manufacturing and test, including precision Mechanical Manufacturing and Assembly in a Clean Room Environment (Class 100, 1000, 10000). This role requires the utilization of Sensitive Welding Equipment, Semi Automated Ovens, Cleaning, High Precision Metrology and Inspections Systems, and Vacuum Equipment. The technician will perform all aspects of semiconductor device processes such as photoresist application, delineation and removal, and wet chemical processes for etching and preparing semiconductor surfaces and films. They will operate within and maintain cleanliness requirements of a class 100 clean room, handle hazardous chemicals and chemical waste safely, and enter process information into production and engineering databases. The position involves collaboration with production supervision, production engineering, and research engineering personnel to improve production processes and develop new device processes. Additionally, the role requires interfacing and coordinating with engineers and technicians in other semiconductor fabrication areas like thin film coating, dicing, and assembly and test operations. This is a second shift position with initial training on the first shift, and the expectation to rotate and learn different functions on the production floor.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle small components and excellent eye/hand coordination.
  • Good oral and written skills for documenting, standard in process work, engineering directed failure analysis/evaluations and rework.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.
