About The Position

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality product output. You will work closely with Production, Operations, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce scrap, and maximize equipment performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 3–6 months of manufacturing experience and/or relevant training.
Experience with mold changing and knowledge of EPS molding processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing industry experience.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout.
Set up and maintain production equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Develop and optimize molding processes to achieve ideal cycle times while meeting quality standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
Improve product quality through process enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Reduce production costs by minimizing scrap and improving efficiency.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on tooling recommendations and modifications.
Assist production operators with packaging and process-related concerns.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
Ensure equipment is operating properly and efficiently to meet production requirements.
Complete all required documentation and production records accurately.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
