Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American provider of midstream energy services. The Pipeline Technician maintains and operates refined product pipelines, crude oil pipelines, pump stations and all of the associated equipment such as pumps, motor operated valves, pressure switches, electric motors, transmitters, vibration switches, electronic controls and pressure regulators. This role involves participating in the installation of instrumentation and electrical components, troubleshooting control systems and complex equipment, running conduit, pulling wire, changing motors, and maintaining lighting systems and basic motor controls. The technician will also maintain, modify, and troubleshoot Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), maintain advanced monitoring devices, and interpret, update, and read P&ID and electrical diagrams. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various electrical and control systems, performing preventative and general maintenance on electronic and pneumatic equipment, and participating in required training programs and safety meetings. The role requires meeting the requirements of the Company's Operator Qualification program and potentially providing training and technical support.
