Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. The Pipeline Technician maintains and operates refined product pipelines, crude oil pipelines, pump stations and all of the associated equipment such as pumps, motor operated valves, pressure switches, electric motors, transmitters, vibration switches, electronic controls and pressure regulators. This role involves participating in installing all instrumentation and electrical components safely, troubleshooting problems with control systems and complex equipment, running conduit, pulling wire, changing motors, and maintaining lighting systems and basic motor controls. The technician will also maintain, modify, and troubleshoot Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and maintain advanced monitoring devices. The ability to read P&ID and electrical diagrams, interpret and update plant electrical drawings, and install, troubleshoot, and maintain various electrical components and systems is crucial. The role also includes performing preventative and general maintenance on electronic and pneumatic equipment, participating in training programs and safety meetings, and meeting the requirements of the Company's Operator Qualification program. Providing training and technical support is also a responsibility.
