About The Position

Repair and Test AV equipment for the amusement and gaming industry.

Requirements

• Must be competent in standard electronic repair methods (i.e. soldering and use of surface mount soldering tools).
• Must be proficient in reading circuit diagrams and schematics in the application of troubleshooting repairs.
• Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with all hand tools.
• Must be willing to keep a clean and safe workplace whether in the shop or on location.
• Adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.
• Overtime Required – This may include longer days during the work week and/or Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must be able to lift/carry 80+ lbs. and move 50 sq. ft./1000 lbs. fragile pieces alone with the help of a pump jack.
• Must be able to handle forklift, pump jack, and dollies.
• Computer, hand scanner, and paperwork skills are required.
• Must be punctual and able to work overtime as business requires.
• Must understand basic low voltage (5v,12v,24v, and 48V) and high voltage (110 AC and 220 AC).
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in display monitor testing and repair preferred.
• Amusement or Gaming Industry experience a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Repair and test audio/visual equipment to company-specific standards.
• Repair and test power supplies / power distribution units and power related equipment.
• Troubleshoots AV equipment to modular and component level.
• Quality assurance testing of newly imported products associated with the forementioned equipment.
• Uses diagnostic tools (multi-meter) to determine repair plans.
• Maintains tools and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
