About The Position

Parabit Systems, a well-established and rapidly expanding company in the security and self-service equipment industries is currently seeking Bench Technicians/Electronic Assemblers. The suitable candidate should have some experience with mechanical, electrical assemblies, some soldering experience and should be familiar with basic test equipment. This position focuses on assembling electronic equipment such soldering wires onto switches and integrating the switches into metal housings as well as packaging the finished product. You will also be integrating circuit boards into enclosures, wiring them and final testing the equipment once completed the data must be entered into a data base so basic computer skills are required.

Requirements

• Some experience with mechanical, electrical assemblies.
• Some soldering experience.
• Familiarity with basic test equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Minimal soldering experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read a wiring diagram.
• Some education in digital electronics.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as DVM's.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of electronics assembly work is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solder wires onto switches and integrate the switches into metal housings.
• Package the finished product.
• Integrate circuit boards into enclosures and wire them.
• Perform final testing of completed equipment.
• Enter data into a database.
• Follow assembly & test procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Document and submit all failures of equipment to engineering QA Department.
• Maintain quality control on the production of all equipment assembled.
• Ensure all company equipment and tools are in proper working condition.
• Maintain manufacturing records of all products.
