About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Technician III where safety and people are core values. We take care of our people and it shows! This role offers a starting pay of $28.75 to $37.40/Hr, paid weekly. The typical schedule is Monday – Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with overtime based on business needs. Requirements

• 5-7 years’ experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction, heavy equipment, or equipment rental background.
• Must have the tools you need to perform repairs in this line of work.
• Experience with diesel and gas engines as well as drivetrains is required.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, major, and minor repairs on hydraulic, electrical, ignition, pneumatic systems is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills; experience with electrical, hydraulic, fuel systems, ignition, and drivetrain.
• A DOT medical card is required.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in this line of work.

• Performing preventative maintenance, major, and minor repairs on hydraulic, electrical, ignition, pneumatic systems is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills; experience with electrical, hydraulic, fuel systems, ignition, and drivetrain.
• May be in the on-call rotation; maintaining a safe driving record is the highest priority to maintain our safety culture.
• Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
