About The Position
Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for an individual, to work in our Development Systems Group in a warehouse environment. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic technician skills required.
- Strong computer, math, and reading comprehension skills necessary for inventory management and shipment processing.
- Demonstrated history of above-average attendance and strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in a Lead role preferred.
- Experience with assembly, palletization for shipment preparation
Responsibilities
- Will work with product assembly, following Bills of Materials (BOMs), barcode scanning, and palletization for shipment preparation.
- Will pick, prepare, and process sales order shipments for worldwide customers.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to safely transport pallets using a pallet jack.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
