About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. In this role, you will support the timely, high-quality production of Diode products by setting up and operating both manual and automated assembly and test equipment. You will also perform in-process inspections and quality control checks to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues on the production floor to maintain optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with manual production equipment, and a demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a relevant science field is preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in assembly and testing environment
  • Experience with various equipment such as Microscope, Oscilloscope, SMU, Capacitance Meter, Multimeter, Power Supplies, DMM, etc
  • Knowledge / basic understanding of Microsoft Office products, ability to review data in Excel, DOS; Win10, Basic, C
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before various groups of the organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).

Nice To Haves

  • Diode manufacturing and testing experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Experience with MIL-PRF-19500 & / or MIL-PRF-38534 product manufacture is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up computer controlled and manual test equipment for specific tests and analysis
  • Collect, record, and report test data, providing detailed results to relevant departments
  • Perform product analysis and testing using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Communicate test findings to the engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of samples
  • Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
  • Adhere to company procedures and standards for product analysis and testing
