Technician, General Facilities Maintenance- Food Equipment
About The Position
Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities equipment or fixtures. Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures utilizing multiple craft skills. Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors. Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements
- Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program
- License in related trade in city and/or state where job is located
- Using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities equipment or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
- Performs major and minor repairs on facilities equipment or fixtures by utilizing multiple craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
- Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information.
- Demonstrates uptodate expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others.
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
