About The Position

Assembly Technician Saber Power Services, LLC , (SPS) located in Houston, TX is a nationally recognized full service, EPC, specialty engineering, procurement, construction and testing and commissioning company specializing in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure in North America. Position Summary: Saber Power Services is seeking an Assembly Technician to support the assembly, quality control, and shipment of electrical components and systems. This role involves hands-on work with tools and equipment, ensuring products meet our standards of safety and performance. This position will be located in Baton Rouge, LA

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
• Ability to read and follow work orders or assembly instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Maintain valid driver’s license
• Available to work Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional overtime

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools
• Perform quality checks and complete QC documentation
• Safely operate forklifts and other shop equipment
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and local part deliveries
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Support preventative maintenance and shop organization
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned
