Diversified Personnel Services (DPS) is seeking Assembly Technicians for a well-established, growing manufacturer in the Oconomowoc area. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with your hands.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
Experience with automotive, diesel, industrial equipment, maintenance, agricultural equipment, or similar mechanical work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation to complete assemblies accurately.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation.
Stage materials and components for production.
Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate concerns when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Participate in quality improvement and team problem-solving initiatives.
Assist with additional production or assembly-related projects as assigned.
