Technician Apprentice/ Paid Training
About The Position
PuroClean, a local, family-owned franchise, is hiring an entry-level Technician Apprentice for in-person work based in Pearl City and serving all of Oʻahu. The apprentice will learn on the job alongside IICRC-certified technicians and help families and businesses recover from water damage, fire, mold, and biohazard materials. No restoration experience is necessary; paid training and certifications are provided. The role offers a development path from Technician Apprentice to Technician to Lead Technician. The company provides 24-hour emergency response, so scheduled on-call rotations and some night, weekend, and after-hours work are part of the job. Applicants must currently live on Oʻahu and be able to report locally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical work.
- Dependability, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, willingness to learn and take direction, and respect for customers and teammates.
- Must currently live on Oʻahu and be available to report to work locally.
- Availability for scheduled on-call rotations.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in general labor, landscaping, warehouse work, moving, maintenance, demolition, delivery, restaurants, or another physically demanding job.
Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with water extraction and drying damaged properties.
- Help with water, fire, mold, and biohazard cleanup.
- Remove damaged materials when needed.
- Set up and remove professional drying equipment.
- Care for equipment and company vehicles.
- Take job-site photos and notes using mobile software.
- Work with customers during difficult circumstances.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and emergency response work, including some nights, weekends, and after-hours.
