About The Position
Performs Aircraft Component maintenance (inspect, test, repair, overhaul) based on customer requirements and component condition. Performs additional duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents.
- Must be able to read and comprehend english
Nice To Haves
- a technical school certificate (A&P License) or equivalent experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe work habits at all times
- Comply with ALL regulatory agency (OSHA, EPA, FAA, etc.) requirements
- Meet/exceed operations productivity and efficiency standards
- Champion Continuous Improvement, LEAN, 6S, etc.
- Perform maintenance repairs/overhauls on assigned components
- Complete cleaning tasks on assigned components
- Complete inspection requirements on assigned components
- Complete test requirements on assigned components
- Communicate/research problem situations that cannot be remedied within assigned sections
- Ensure cleanliness of assigned work area and test areas
- Verify unit performance by conducting test runs
- Assist with training and development of SR Technicians, and Technicians
- Other duties as assigned
