About The Position

SunStrong Management is seeking a highly skilled technician specializing in solar and battery energy storage system (ESS) operations and maintenance. The role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting and crew leadership. SunStrong Management provides end-to-end services for residential and commercial solar energy portfolios, including operations and maintenance, customer billing and support, asset performance management, and investor reporting.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of solar experience.
• OEM battery certifications, as applicable.
• Strong troubleshooting and leadership capability.
• Valid driver’s license, subject to a driver record check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a crew lead for solar and battery work.
• Roof and electrical competency.
• Authorization for ESS work.

Responsibilities

• Perform all solar service work.
• Diagnose and repair battery (ESS) systems, including Tesla, Enphase, SunVault, and Franklin systems.
• Lead crews on battery and advanced service jobs.
• Resolve escalated and multi-system issues.
