About The Position

Identify defects and repair before products go through topcoat processing.

Requirements

• If working in the Finish Department or Final Inspection and you make decisions on color then you must score a 50 or better on a Nucraft administered Color Test.
• If working in the Finish Lab you must score a 16 or better on a Nucraft administered color test.

• Some computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years experience with patch/touch up preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before going through topcoat to detect defects.
• Determine which defects need repairs and to what degree in order to meet standards.
• Determine appropriate process required to improve the quality of the part and hide defects.
• Fix or conceal defects as appropriate.
• Approve quality defects throughout plant before parts reach finish.
• Daily housekeeping to clean and remove waste from area.
