About The Position

High Concrete is seeking a Concrete Patcher to join their 1st shift team. This role is responsible for routine patching and repair of damaged concrete products in storage locations or on shipping trailers. The patching specialist will also develop skills to perform remedial work as required. This is a 1st shift position working Monday-Friday, starting at 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years experience in the pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete industry preferred
• Previous experience in concrete patching work
• Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plus

Responsibilities

• Apply proper floated finish to dry concrete as specified on drawings or by the area supervisor
• Maintains proper uniformity for color and texture on all products assigned to be patched or rubbed
• Inspect all assigned products for cracks, spalls, chips and color variations
• Able to learn patch mix designs and proper color matching
• Able to perform complex patching of major defects
