About The Position

SAIC is seeking a mission-driven Technical Writer/Graphics Specialist to support a customer project. The role requires reviewing and editing technical information for accuracy, clarity, and impact, and applying a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology alongside excellent writing and editing skills. The position develops and maintains technical documentation and works with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, current, clear, and compliant with applicable standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly.
• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of technical experience; additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Strong technical background.
• Demonstrated experience writing and editing technical documents for a variety of audiences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit technical documents, including reports, briefs, and other written materials, for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Present technical information clearly and concisely using proper formatting and style guides.
• Verify technical information against source materials and other relevant documentation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and instructional materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical content is accurate and up to date.
• Edit and revise technical documents to improve clarity, coherence, and overall quality.
• Ensure technical documents comply with relevant standards, regulations, and guidelines.
