About The Position
cFocus Software is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) program. This role is based on-site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area and requires an active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or related field with 4-12+ years of technical writing experience
- Proficient in documentation tools (MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence)
- Experience documenting software applications and technical systems
- Knowledge of documentation standards (MIL-STD, DITA)
- Capable of independently managing documentation projects
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains technical documentation including user guides, system documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Translates complex technical information into clear, concise documentation for various audiences.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
- Develop documentation standards and style guides.
- Manages documentation repositories and version control.
- Create diagrams, screenshots, and visual aids to enhance documentation.
