About The Position

cFocus Software is seeking a System Architect to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is located on-site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area and requires an active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8-12 years of experience in system architecture
• Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures and microservices
• Proficient in multiple technology stacks and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of security architecture and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF)

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architectures for complex enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Develops architectural blueprints, technical standards, and integration strategies.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and makes recommendations for system modernization.
• Ensures architectural alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and mission objectives.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
