About The Position

YuJa, Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation and RFP responses. This role involves crafting clear and precise communication for a growing suite of products, supporting both client-facing and internal needs. The Technical Writer will work closely with product teams, UX designers, and client success teams to ensure accuracy, clarity, and user-friendliness of all written content. The position is office-based with standard Monday to Friday hours and is directed towards candidates already in Canada.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, with proven ability to craft polished, professional, and persuasive content.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing RFP responses, ensuring submissions are well-organized, compliant, and compelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and formatting skills with meticulous attention to accuracy.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, UX, and client success teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Zendesk is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and WordPress is an asset.
  • A degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive guides, FAQs, and release documentation using Zendesk.
  • Revise and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements, maintaining consistency.
  • Create accurate, persuasive, and well-structured RFP responses.
  • Draft admin alerts and customer notifications for new features and releases.
  • Partner with UX designers to refine interface text and assist with mockups.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
  • Collaborate with Client Success and Support teams to ensure client-facing materials are transparent and accurate.
  • Apply UX writing principles to improve user experience and ensure content aligns with design and usability best practices.
