About The Position

Writes and edits technical documentation, user manuals, sales, and training literature. Applies specific functional knowledge with working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees. This role will work closely with engineering, program management, and cybersecurity teams to produce accurate, clear, and compliant documentation.

Requirements

Experience producing technical documentation in a DoD, defense contractor, or government-regulated environment
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio
Knowledge of MIL-STD documentation practices, CDRLs, and DIDs
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Experience with systems engineering, cybersecurity compliance, Risk Management Framework (RMF), or software development programs
Experience developing documentation for classified programs
Knowledge of modern development methodologies such as Agile or DevSecOps
Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes
