About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional English communication skills—both written and verbal—and a passion for creating clear, user-friendly documentation. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to produce and maintain high-quality documentation for our products and internal tools.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven experience in creating technical documentation for software, hardware, or technical services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign and other documentation tools.
  • Experience with online documentation platforms such as Confluence, ReadTheDocs, GitBook, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Markdown formatting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.
  • Keen curiosity to dig into details of system architecture and understand how things work from a customer perspective by using the system.
  • Ability to put yourself in the shoes of your audience and anticipate questions and answers from their perspective.
  • Experience with user-centered design methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or Markdown-based publishing systems.
  • Exposure to software development environments or technical writing for APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and API references.
  • Develop and organize content for both Word-based documents (e.g., reports, manuals) and online documentation portals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all materials.
  • Use Markdown (preferred) and other markup or publishing tools to create and format online documentation.
  • Maintain document version control and ensure consistency of tone, terminology, and branding.
  • Participate in reviews and continuously improve documentation processes and templates.
