About The Position
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs in Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. The Technical Writer II provides supply and provisioning support for Virginia, Ohio, and Columbia Class Submarines. The role includes database queries, research, reporting, maintenance of the Supply Readiness Management Milestone Plan (SRMMP), and coordination with Program Office personnel and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required for the purposes of obtaining or holding a U.S. security clearance.
- 7+ years of professional experience in DoW supply management and logistics working with NERP, OneTouch, and FedLog.
- Knowledge of submarine systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide supply and provisioning support for Virginia, Ohio, and Columbia Class Submarines.
- Perform database queries, research, and reporting.
- Update and maintain the Supply Readiness Management Milestone Plan (SRMMP).
- Conduct provisioning research and data calls, document meeting notes and actions, and follow up with stakeholders.
- Communicate and meet with Program Office personnel.
