About The Position

The Technical Warehouse Associate position is designed to provide a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, with a focus on engineering, mechanical disciplines, technical trades, or supply chain. This position supports day-to-day warehouse operations and basic technical activities, while offering exposure to equipment, tools, and operational workflows. The role aims to build foundational skills, practical experience, and a strong understanding of workplace safety, quality, and efficiency. Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America’s leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate, in a post-secondary program (preferred fields: engineering, mechanical, technical trades (elevating device mechanic 636E), or supply chain)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable with hands-on, physical work (lifting, moving materials, standing for extended periods)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Support inventory counts and stock replenishment activities
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (as trained)
  • Assist with equipment setup, basic assembly, and preparation for delivery
  • Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks on equipment
  • Support minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision
  • Help track and organize tools, parts, and technical documentation
  • Assist with preparing units for demos, shipping, or customer use
