Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability and desire to train in a criterion reference-based training program
- Detail oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a high-pressure environment with minimal or no guidance with a aptitude towards training
- Minimum High School education or equivalent in addition to significant training and knowledge of the material handling industry
- Reasonable level of computer literacy in Word, Excel and Power Point
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and backgrounds
- Ability to mentor and take ownership of developing technicians’ abilities
Nice To Haves
- Raymond, Toyota and ASE certifications are preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair lift trucks and material-handling equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and field service repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
- Facilitate training to the standards of Welch Equipment and the brands it supports
- Provide classroom, shop, and field training focused on safe work practices, scheduled maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, repair techniques, and technician development
- Support training and initiatives that drive additional parts and labor sales opportunities
- Communicate in a manner that promotes learning
- Travel to branch locations, training locations, and customer sites, as assigned
- Maintain a constant focus on safety and compliance
- Additional duties as assigned
