About The Position

Join a team of professionals where you'll be responsible for developing and delivering technical training for employees across the organization to improve knowledge, skills, safety, and performance. Come Build With Us: Deliver technical training, including math, print reading, GD&T, measurement, machining, and CNC machining. Develop, maintain, and improve training programs, materials, and documentation. Assist with maintaining training equipment, classrooms, and machine shop. Manage training records and learning content within the TURBOCAM Success Portal. Partner with business unit and corporate leadership to identify training needs and close skill gaps with a specific focus on engineering, machining, maintenance, operations, and quality. Ensure training aligns with SOPs, safety, and quality standards. Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments and performance metrics. Foster a positive, collaborative, and safe learning environment. Coach and mentor employees to build technical skills and professional growth. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience teaching and training with a demonstrated passion and ability to teach, lead, and encourage others.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in automotive and/or aerospace.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt training to different learning styles; ability to simplify technical concepts into practical instruction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, measurement and machining.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license from his/her state of residence.
  • Must have a range of motion sufficient to permit climbing stairs, walking, standing, stooping and crouching for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 25 lbs. or more and standing for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year degree with emphasis on manufacturing and/or teaching is highly preferred.
