About The Position

Centuri is seeking two transitioning service members for a full-time SkillBridge Technical Trainer placement at their Cherry Hill, NJ office. This role is central to developing future Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators. The ideal candidate will have experience leading people, training crews, and fostering operational excellence in demanding environments. This is a unique opportunity for eligible SkillBridge participants to transition into a professional growth role within the utility and energy infrastructure sector.

Requirements

Active duty service member eligible for DOW SkillBridge participation.
Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and developing personnel (e.g., formal instructor, TRADOC faculty, or sustained crew/unit leader development).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Organized, self-directed, and capable of working independently.
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, and communicate verbally and in writing.
Mobility required within office, warehouse, and construction site environments.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify.
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

Facilitate structured technical training programs for Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators, ensuring curriculum is practical, field-relevant, and hands-on.
Partner with operations leadership to identify training needs and address skill gaps within the project delivery team.
Assist in the development and enhancement of training materials, exercises, and performance assessments, leveraging operational experience to improve content.
Observe field operations, project sites, and estimating workflows to inform and create effective training content.
Monitor participant progress and provide coaching and feedback throughout the training process.
Contribute to establishing consistent standards across project delivery disciplines to build a more capable and scalable workforce.
Provide support for other training programs and initiatives as needed.
