The role ensures system stability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and systems administration activities.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise system software.
- Support mainframe operating environments including VM, VSE/ESA, CICS, and VTAM.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communications-related issues.
- Support database management systems and middleware platforms.
- Perform system capacity planning and resource utilization analysis.
- Implement software patches, upgrades, and maintenance releases.
- Develop and maintain technical procedures and operational documentation.
- Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and database teams to resolve issues.
