About The Position

Join CIBC’s Technology Operations team as a Technical Systems Analyst Co-op, where you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in application provisioning and system administration. As part of your co-op term, you’ll be trained on key processes and tools, and you’ll be responsible for handling provisioning requests and completing a set of assigned tasks. You’ll have opportunities to implement process improvements, collaborate on presentations, and develop documentation to support team initiatives. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible.
  • Eager to learn with a passion for technology and excited to develop new technical skills in a collaborative environment.
  • Comfortable working with ServiceNow, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange, and scripting languages, or keen to learn these tools.
  • Detail-oriented, approaching tasks with care and accuracy, ensuring that all provisioning and documentation is completed to a high standard.
  • Can clearly explain ideas and contribute to presentations and documentation for a variety of audiences.
  • Working toward a degree or diploma in computer science or a related field.
  • Brings their real self to work, and lives CIBC's values - trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

  • Complete provisioning requests for various applications and systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and propose innovative solutions to enhance team efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation and presentation materials to support operational processes and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve shared goals, participate in meetings, and contribute to group discussions.
  • Gain hands-on experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange, and scripting languages, with guidance and training provided throughout your term.
