About The Position
Hammond Power Solutions Inc. is a global manufacturer headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. HPS has grown to become the leader in North America in the custom design and manufacture of dry type transformers. For the past century, HPS has grown to deliver electrical power solutions to global markets and provides solutions for complex applications like, mining, rectifier, drives, traction, wind, solar and many other electrical power applications. The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for a Business Systems co-op, come grow with us! This is a 4 month co-op starting September 2026. JOB OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the Business Systems Co-op supports the IT department by helping maintain, analyze, enhance, and administer ERP systems and related business applications.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Business Systems, Management Information Systems, MBA or BBA program
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Understanding of ERP/CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of key technical and functional areas of business systems
- Technical analysis of security and processes ERP system
- Developer Power BI reports and Dashboards
- Support business operations, monitor batch jobs and solve user tickets
- Performer user audits, transactions and integration job reviews
