About The Position

This full-time on-site role will report directly to the IT Service Desk Supervisor. Join Our Team and Make a Difference Through Technology! We’re looking for a friendly, service-driven Technical Support Specialist I to join our Technical Support Services (TSS) team! In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for employees needing help with technology—whether they’re in the office or working remotely. If you enjoy solving problems, helping people, and working in a collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years (1-2) related experience and/or training; or equivelant combination of education and experience
  • Passion for helping others and delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of computers and common software
  • Organized and able to manage multiple requests
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical environment
  • Basic knowledge of computers, software applications, and common troubleshooting steps

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot issues with computers, applications, hardware, and software
  • Assist users by explaining solutions in a clear, easy-to-understand way
  • Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the ITSM system
  • Escalate more complex issues when appropriate
  • Follow up to ensure issues are fully resolved
  • Create simple “how-to” guides for end users
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service and processes
