About The Position

Prequel Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a stable Pittsburgh-based organization. This role is ideal for an IT professional with 2-3 years of experience who is looking to expand beyond traditional Help Desk responsibilities and gain exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies, device management, and IT operations.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of IT support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
  • Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and user account administration
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Support Technical Support

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users
  • Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Windows environments
  • Assist with user onboarding, device deployment, and account administration
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment records
  • Manage and resolve support tickets through the service desk platform
  • Assist with endpoint management, software deployments, and patching activities
  • Perform initial review of reported phishing emails and security concerns
  • Support a cloud-based phone system through basic troubleshooting and escalation
