Vitesse Systems is looking for a Technical Support Specialist I to join the team! The Technical Support Specialist I will provide stellar help desk support to staff. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to follow documented instructions and procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 11
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication (written and verbal), and organization skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct laptop and workstation support for end users, including troubleshooting and supporting PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and communication devices.
  • Support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of physical equipment required for business operations.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, resolve, and update company software and systems such as email, OS, and technical programs.
  • Support IT projects and internal initiatives as directed by Director of IT.
  • First line of defense for supporting IT issues.
  • Support end user technology and best practice training.
  • Integrate, maintain, and monitor user systems.
  • Train users on hardware and software.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, software, licenses, etc.
  • Uphold the company core values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
