About The Position

Micro Center is seeking self-motivated, results-driven, full-time Technical Support Representatives for its Corporate Office in Hilliard, Ohio. The role helps deliver a high-quality customer experience by providing technical support and recommending service solutions, upgrades, accessories, and additional services that help customers get the most from their products. It is suited to people who enjoy problem-solving, learning new skills, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates must be available to work between 9:00 a.m. and midnight, including weekends. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Strong listening, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Accurate and efficient typing proficiency.
Ability to multitask effectively while managing priorities.
Flexibility and adaptability when working with diverse customer needs and personalities.
Availability to work between 9:00 a.m. and midnight, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in customer service or a related field.
Passion for technology, including computers and electronics.

Responsibilities

Manage large volumes of inbound customer contacts promptly by phone, chat, text, and email.
Maintain a general understanding of current consumer electronic devices and technology.
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, qualify issues, and offer solutions.
Personalize support to improve customer satisfaction.
Document customer contacts accurately and enter them into the appropriate database.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships to support teamwork.
Meet personal and team goals.
Assist customers with troubleshooting, product setup, and issue resolution.
Identify opportunities to recommend upgrades, accessories, and additional services.
