Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Technical Support Lead to join our team and support our client in the Columbia, MD area. As an IT Operations specialist, you will be responsible for managing and securing complex IT environments, ensuring the smooth operation of Linux systems and cloud-based infrastructures.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in general IT, cybersecurity, CNO software or security research
  • 3 years of experience managing Linux Systems
  • Experience with networking (e.g.: TCP/IP, virtualization, cloud/data center architecture)
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g.: PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, BASH, etc.)
  • Experience with Service desk tools (e.g.: JIRA, Redmine, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Experience with knowledge management system (e.g.: Confluence, GitLab, etc.)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or Higher
  • Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and a willingness to sit for a polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevOps pipeline tools (e.g.: Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)
  • Experience working in cloud environments
  • Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework Processes
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures, including the deployment and monitoring of network-based Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
  • Hands-on work with virtualization technologies and the architecture of both cloud and data center environments
  • Managing and optimizing resources across platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
  • Streamline processes and enhance system reliability
  • Integrate security and operational best practices into continuous deployment workflows
  • Ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all IT operations
