About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technical Support Lead to join their team and support their client in the Columbia, MD area. As an IT Operations specialist, you will oversee the management and security of complex IT environments, ensuring the seamless operation of Linux systems and cloud-based infrastructures. This role involves implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures, hands-on work with virtualization technologies, managing and optimizing resources across platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, streamlining processes, enhancing system reliability, integrating security and operational best practices into continuous deployment workflows, and ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across all IT operations.

Requirements

3 years of experience in general IT, cybersecurity, CNO software or security research
3 years of experience managing Linux Systems
Experience with networking (e.g.: TCP/IP, virtualization, cloud/data center architecture)
Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g.: PowerShell, Ansible Playbooks, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, BASH, etc.)
Experience with Service desk tools (e.g.: JIRA, Redmine, ServiceNow, etc.)
Experience with knowledge management system (e.g.: Confluence, GitLab, etc.)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or Higher
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance and a willingness to sit for a polygraph

Nice To Haves

Experience with DevOps pipeline tools (e.g.: Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)
Experience working in cloud environments
Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework Processes
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, proactively identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions that align with organizational objectives

Responsibilities

Implementing and maintaining robust cyber security measures, including the deployment and monitoring of network-based Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
