More than 26 million students ride approximately 500,000 school buses every day. At BusRight, we are building the modern operating system for school transportation, helping districts manage routing, driver navigation, live GPS tracking, student transportation data, and communication with families. We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who enjoys understanding complex systems, debugging production issues, writing code, and building tools that make both our product and our teams more effective. This is a hands on technical engineering role focused on investigating real world system behavior and building solutions. You will work across our application, APIs, logs, data integrations, GPS systems, hardware, and codebase to understand how things work and why they sometimes do not. A meaningful part of the role involves writing, improving, and maintaining TypeScript and JavaScript scripts and internal tools. These may help investigate production behavior, analyze customer data, automate operational workflows, validate integrations, or provide functionality that does not yet exist in the product. You will also own complex customer reported issues from investigation through resolution, working directly with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and customers when needed.
