As a Technical Support Engineer at Flow Traders, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and uptime of our office-based IT systems. This includes workstations, thin clients, virtual machines, as well as laptops, TVs, and printers. A typical day for a Technical Support Engineer begins with a routine review of all office IT infrastructure through our monitoring systems, along with a scan of any issues reported in support chats. Throughout the day, your primary focus will be on resolving technical issues while also contributing to process improvement initiatives and projects that continuously enhance our environment. As our New York office continues to grow, you will oversee IT procurement and inventory management to ensure that equipment needs are consistently met. In partnership with HR and Office Management, you will also support onboarding for new hires, including preparing equipment, coordinating desk moves, and setting up employee workstations.
