About The Position

Under the direction of the EZ Entry Technical Support Lead, the EZ Entry Technical Support Administrator supports competitors, participants, competition organizers, USEF Staff and anyone else using EZ Entry, to provide timely support while competitions are in planning, progress, and post-competition processes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of work experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and build trust with customers even when there are issues.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software including writing bugs, tasks with appropriate error messages and screenshots.
  • Ability to learn to write SQL statements to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to audit for, recognize, and correct bad data.
  • Ability to prioritize and make good decisions with given constraints.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent Organization Skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, approximately 1-2 times a year, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on or with a software team is desired.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Two years clerical or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic information technology experience preferred.
  • Training, management, or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and emails to support USEF system users and products.
  • Solve problems, troubleshoot issues, query the database, make manual data updates, and aid in competition setup/permissions.
  • Provide input for bug fixes and feature improvements.
  • Work independently and escalate issues to developers when necessary.
  • Perform quality assurance on development work.
