About The Position

The Technical Support Analyst provides technical support to end-users within an organization. The technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. The technician also provides user training and education to ensure that end-users can use technology efficiently. This position requires on-site work to service the needs of our facilities within Yavapai County, AZ.

Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older; or minimum 18 years old and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member’s scope of practice; or minimum 18 years old for select administrative positions
  • Must be able to provide or obtain an AZDPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must possess a valid driver license and have the ability to drive to sites throughout Yavapai County on an as needed basis
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Adept at using the Six-Step Troubleshooting methodology
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with remote access tools and software
  • CompTIA A+/Network+ or similar certification
  • Must be able to work on-site to service the needs of our facilities within Yavapai County, AZ
  • Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation as needed

Nice To Haves

  • related Associate’s degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s in IT/IS or related field or 1-2 years relevant IT analyst work
  • Experience with databases, EHR systems, scripting, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms
  • Advanced IT certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
  • Experience with project leadership, system integrations, data analytics, and security oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install and configure software applications and hardware devices.
  • Maintain and update software and hardware systems.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions.
  • Provide training and education to end-users on how to use technology effectively.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and developments.
  • Perform Site visits on a regular basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
