About The Position

This position is responsible for managing IT assets, including hardware and software, throughout their lifecycle. The role involves coordinating asset transfers, generating reports, managing ITSM tickets, performing inventories, and tracking warranties and contracts. The analyst will also assist with asset IMACs, PC refreshes, and software license management, including audits and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the transfer of IT assets between business units with 5 to 7 business days.
Generate, distribute, & review weekly IT asset management reports.
Complete ITSM tickets within 7 - 10 business days.
Monitor the ITSM IT Asset Management queue on a daily basis.
Update notes with clear and accurate information to ensure that the life cycle of the ticket is accurately captured.
Correctly manage the ITAM Queue.
Assist with Asset IMAC and PC Refresh processes.
Perform periodic inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support for the Technology Services department.
Track and maintain copies of hardware warranties, maintenance agreements, and lease and vendor contracts, including contract expirations.
Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses.
Perform periodic software audits of installs on desktops, servers, and network equipment.
Assist in the reconciliation process of the software repository with the ISO Approval list on a semiannual basis.
