About The Position
Acts as a liaison between the Technology and the business of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts advanced level business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost / benefit analysis in an effort to align Technology solutions with business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or in lieu of degree High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners.
- Convert business decisions into scalable, repeatable logic within applications, databases, or reporting layers
- Own the full lifecycle from idea → analysis → logic design → implementation → validation
- Design and implement data-driven solutions using SQL to support business processes, reporting, and application logic
- Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise business language back to stakeholders
- Expert-level SQL development skills to design, optimize, and govern highly complex decision‑science logic powering our pricing applications.
- Coordinates with users to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.
- Responsible for document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library.
