About The Position

Peerless is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and strategic Technical Specialist to join their Engineering Department. This role is critical to ensuring technical accuracy, operational efficiency, and strong customer relationships. The individual will support application review, quoting, system setup, and process improvement efforts while serving as a key point of coordination across multiple functions. Success requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves partnering with customers and colleagues, including Fortune 500 organizations, and acting as the liaison between customers, internal engineering, and supplier partners.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, etc.) OR equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Experience with ERP systems preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate customer applications to ensure technical feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with company capabilities.
Support ERP system setup, configuration, and ongoing data management to maintain information flow and operational integrity, reducing errors and delays.
Assist with RFQs, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Serve as a liaison between customers, internal engineering, suppliers, and vendor partners.
Coordinate technical communications to ensure clarity, alignment, and project continuity.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance.
Assist with maintenance and adherence to quality management system.
