About The Position

The Technical Specialist III is responsible for identifying and implementing automation and data collection on production machines to improve quality, reduce machine cycle time, and reduce downtime. Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by troubleshooting production equipment and implementing changes to reduce downtime, shortening production equipment cycle time with programming of existing controls or improved automation, upgrading and reprogramming obsolete controls components on critical production equipment, identifying and implementing methods of checking for product defects prior to packing, identifying opportunities and implementing means to mistake-proof critical assembly operations, and programming and displaying additional operational information to the operator that will make their jobs easier and improve productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (required)
• Solid understanding of production and plant processes (required)

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Technical school experience is preferred.
• Relevant certifications
